Marketplace listings can help discovery and validation. Confirm whether the transaction is handled by the platform or gallery and ensure price, fees, tax, delivery and artwork details agree before purchase.
Use the listing to start a precise enquiry
Save the listing link and record the artist, title, dimensions and price shown when you enquire. Ask the gallery to confirm current availability and the particular work or edition on offer. Listings can introduce you to an artist’s practice, but production, framing and delivery details should be confirmed for your own acquisition.
Confirm who manages the transaction
Ask whether payment and order administration will take place through the marketplace or directly with the gallery. Read the terms that apply to that route and check what services or protections it includes. Do not assume that an introduction through a platform makes every later arrangement subject to the same process or conditions.
