What Is White-Glove Art Delivery?
White-glove delivery may include specialist handling, timed delivery, unpacking, condition checking and installation. The included services vary, so confirm them in writing for the acquisition.
Ask what the service actually includes
The term can cover different services depending on the destination and supplier. Confirm whether the quotation includes an appointment, carrying the work into the property, unpacking, placement, hanging and removal of packing materials. Installation should be stated explicitly; it is not established by the words “white glove” alone.
Prepare the room and installation information
Provide the floor level, lift and stair access, parking restrictions, wall construction and preferred position. Large or heavy works may need additional people or suitable fixings. Agree who will assess the wall and arrange installation. At handover, check the work and keep the delivery record with the acquisition documents.
